This filter as a pre-treatment filter of home water purifier removes bigger than 5μm contaminants such as dirt, asnd and oxide pollutants from the tap water and protects R/O or U/F membrane and precarbon filter from being clogged. All the materials used in producing this filter are compliant with the FDA and designed as per the standard of the JHP.
